We're having a relaxed day today. Mostly because I made the mistake of trimming Nye's fringe yesterday (he complained it was in his eyes) and now it's "too straight", so we agreed to compromise with the school schedule today 😆
We (Mum & Nye) started by watching The Da Vinci Code. That very loosely followed on from yesterday's work on Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. I gave Nye the task of spotting famous artwork in the movie.
Nia started the day off with some more robot maths.
And some colouring.
Mum and Nia are going outside to do some digging in the garden while Nye relaxes on the sofa, building his blue Minecraft house.

He enjoyed solving the clues throughout the story, the mix of fact, fiction and history. There were plenty of references to Leonardo da Vinci.
We briefly peered in to the glass jar to see how our crystal growing experiment is doing. We could see some crystals on the bottom of the jar, some forming above the waterline, and Nye noticed the water level has gone down too.
Nye had a go at doing a crossword on 'silent letters'.
After lunch Nye's task was to make a house in Minecraft using only blue/white blocks. He decided to make the house symmetrical.
