Day 15 - Friday (week 5 of lockdown)

Both children are in a good mood today 😀

Nia read some more of her Gruffalo book to us:

Nye did some of his arithmetic SATs book. One question involved picking out numbers in the 5 times table - Nia helped:

We had a look at Oak National Academy and Nia had a maths lesson with Mr Latham about comparing heights/lengths:

We found items to compare. Nia placed them in order of height from shortest to tallest:

Nye did some coding on Scratch to make a cat run away from a fire breathing dragon:

Then Nye had an English lesson from Mr Fozzard at Oak National Academy, identifying features of a newspaper article:

The article was about Harry Potter which made it fun. Nye enjoyed it.

The sunflowers are doing well. Both Nye and Nia have shoots now:

We discovered Alexa can give us a maths test 😎 Nye did a normal level mixed questions test. He said it was amazing and he got all ten questions correct 😃

The weather is lovely so I think we'll go outside and do some gardening this afternoon.
