Both kids are fed up so we're keeping work sessions short.
Nia started off with a wordsearch about British birds:
We had a look at the sunflower seeds on the windowsill. One of Nye's has a little shoot visible and we think Nia's might have one too as the seed has moved upwards:
Nye did a few division/fractions questions to finish his booklet:
He sorted picture cards into solids, liquids and gases:
And answered a few questions about matter. He also completed a task on reversible and irreversible changes:
Nia has a Sunflower Diary booklet and she completed the page on what sunflowers need to grow. She remembered what we learnt yesterday so she got all the answers right. Some fabulous colouring too:
Nye had a super fast French session, identifying different food and drink. Lots of new words. Mum called out a word in French and Nye had to say it in English. Some of them sound really funny 😆
We've also been outside and done a little bit of gardening.
