We have a supply teacher with us today (Daddy has the day off work!). Both students did some lovely reading to start the day.
Next up was maths. Nia did some work on fractions, putting the shapes into the right columns.

Nye did some fabulous work in his bedroom on complicated addition:
After a break in the sunshine it was time for English.
Nia did some handwriting. She tried joined-up writing for the first time. It was tricky to start with but she's getting the hang of joining the letters with washing lines...
Nye did a reading comprehension task on The Pack of Pompeii. It was a very relaxed lesson with Dad doing the writing.
Nia finished off the morning with some more Gruffalo. Fabulous reading again.
Nye finished the morning with some Minecraft, working with Dad to build some more of his Pompeii project.
It's Tuesday lunchtime so it must be.... Lego club!
