We started the day off with some reading. Nia read aloud to Mum, Nye read to himself.
Our second lesson was maths. Nia did an activity involving counting dots to add two numbers together. Nye did some MyMaths arithmetic questions.
There was a little bit of distraction around break time with some noughts and crosses and a few minutes of Minecraft...
English didn't start very well 😂 Nye's task was to find some facts on Charles Darwin. Nia had to write an entry in her daily diary and also make a poster about road safety.
The pupils gained a little motivation (Startburst sweets, and the promise of a treat from their reward box if they did all of their work today 😉) and managed to get their work done.
Nye wrote down some interesting facts by answering questions from Mum.
Nia copied down some important sentences about road safety, and she did some lovely drawing and colouring to finish off her poster.
After lunch we had fun with bubbles on the driveway, soaking up the sunshine, then watched Spongebob the movie (for relaxation purposes!) 😁
Nia chose to do some handwriting. She's practising sitting the letters on the line.
